Govee API Key
Nova uses the Govee API to operate, which requires your API key to work. Its simply stored in a .KEY file next to the Nova executable.
To get your API key, follow these steps:
- Open the "Govee Home" mobile app. If you do not have it installed, it is available on the Google Play Store and the App Store.
- Next, travel to the "Users" tab on the bottom right, and click the gear icon at the top.
- In the settings page, press "Apply for API Key."
- Finally, add your name add reason for application, and submit a request for your API key.
Govee should reach back out to you quickly! ❤️
